I develop AI models for health and well-being applications at Meta. Before joining Meta, I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I was fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jimeng Sun. Prior to that, I received dual bachelor’s degrees from Zhejiang University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

[Research] My research focuses on foundation models—including large language models and multimodal models—for interpreting complex, heterogeneous, and longitudinal health data.

[Application] I co-lead the development of PyHealth, an open-source toolkit for predictive modeling with patient data. It has received over 1.6K stars on GitHub.
