I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Jimeng Sun. Before this, I received dual bachelor’s degrees from Zhejiang University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

[Research] My research focuses on developing robust foundation models (e.g., large language models and multimodal models) for healthcare and drug discovery applications. The core of my work involves addressing various distribution shifts between training and testing data, encompassing challenges like missing modalities, covariate shift, and the emergence of new labels.

[Application] I co-lead the development of PyHealth, an open-source toolkit for predictive modeling with multimodal clinical data. It has received over 800 stars and 20K downloads on GitHub.
